Hi! I’m Axe! I’m a nonbinary personal trainer and online fitness coach in downtown Vancouver!

I’m here to help you feel at home in fitness spaces, teach you movements and exercises to strengthen health, body and mind, and provide guidance, support and accountability to help you reach your goals.

WHAT I OFFER

Train with me in person! I work in a number of fitness studios in downtown Vancouver with varying degrees of privacy to suit your needs. I’ll build a full exercise program tuned to your goals and experience level and provide hands-on instruction, guidance, accountability and support over time.

Thembro Fit is fully body positive - I’m absolutely here to help you lose fat and build muscle if that’s what you want, but I’m never going to tell you it’s what you need.

MY STORY

I was never fit or sporty growing up. I was bullied for being big, slow, clumsy and weird. I always felt there was something wrong with me, that i was half a step off beat from the rest of the world. I felt adrift and powerless. I never hated my body but I always dreamed of what it could be, I just never thought it was possible.

I realized i had to try or always regret it. And I Fell In Love. Fitness taught me so many life lessons about goals and plans, about hard work, failure and results.

I learned that i had way more power and control over my life than i thought, I just needed to figure out how to use it.

Another way I have finally come into my power has been acceptance and understanding of my trans Nonbinary gender identity. FInally I knew I wasn’t Wrong, I wasn’t Alien. I was Just Different, In A WAY A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE and have always been. I have never felt more secure in myself or excited for my future.

I Started searching for trans support in the fitness space and found it lacking. But I knew I wasn’t alone so I decided to be the kind of person i needed, to help other trans and queer people find their own power in their bodies.

THAT’S MY STORY - I’m excited to hear yours. Whatever your goals or fitness level, I’m here to help you be strong. You’re capable of so much more than you think you are, and I’ll prove it to you.
